Ensure that you are using the proper method for using the wireless display on your device:
Windows 8.1 - You must use the Add a wireless display option in the Windows Project menu to connect to ScreenBeam:
- Slide in the Charms menu from the right of the screen.
- Select Devices
- Select Project from the Devices menu
- Select Add a wireless display
If the Add a wireless display option does not appear in the Project menu:
- Ensure the latest drivers for the Display adapter and Wireless Network adapter on your system are installed. You can obtain these drivers from the device manufacturer.
- Temporarily disable any VPN Client software if it was installed on the system while using the wireless display.
Windows 10 - There are two methods for using the wireless display in Windows 10:
Method 1
- Open the Windows 10 Action Center by sliding it in from the right of the screen. If your device does not have a touch screen, click the Action Center icon (
) in the Windows system notification area.
- Click or tap the Connect button.
- Select your ScreenBeam receiver from the list of detected wireless display receivers in the Connect menu.
Method 2
- Use the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + P to open the Project menu.
- Click or tap Connect to a wireless display.
- Select your ScreenBeam receiver from the list of detected wireless display receivers in the Connect menu.
