When the phone is idle and enters into the lock screen the wireless adapter is placed into a hibernate/sleep mode thus ending the Miracast connection. When the device is streaming content, the device is considered active and does not utilize the same power saving features.
Why does the ScreenBeam Mini 2 Continuum Edition disconnect from the Lumia 950/XL when the phone idles but is fine if streaming video or other media?
